此次调查由香港中文大学香港亚太研究所于1月21日至2月25日进行，共访问了1005名居民。受访者对2024年下半年的平均评分为5.38，低于上半年的5.45，为2020年以来的首次下降。自2020年上半年触及3.39的低点以来，公众评分一直在逐渐上升，当时正值国安法即将实施以平息社会动荡，同时也标志着新冠疫情的开始。

私隐公署表示，会依照既定程序收集更多信息，协助相关商户，包括接管业务的运营商，确保其在处理、删除或转移客户和送餐员的个人资料时，符合相关规定。Deliveroo此前表示，除将骑手推荐给Foodpanda外，还将把部分客户、餐厅和杂货店出售给竞争对手，该公司过去一年在香港的EBITDA（息税折旧及摊销前利润）为负值。
