In the capital of Indonesia’s most conservative province, Aceh, lies a sole woman-run cafe owned by Qurrata Ayuni.
Morning Mama was opened in 2023 to create a space that caters to women in Banda Aceh, also known as the “city of 1,001 coffee shops”.
Owner Qurrata aims to provide an alternative to coffee shops that typically cater to men in the city.
