AI set to reshape the world, Alibaba founder Jack Ma tells Chinese rural teachers
Jack Ma, founder of Alibaba Group, has emphasized that artificial intelligence (AI) will significantly reshape the world in the coming decade. In a recent video speech, he highlighted the potential of AI to surpass current expectations and create new challenges, particularly in the context of China's rural education system.
Ma's remarks were made during a celebration of his foundation's rural teachers program, linking the rise of AI with demographic changes in China that could impact education. This speech follows his previous address at Ant Group's 20th anniversary, where he expressed a similar sentiment about the transformative power of AI over the next two decades. Since retiring, Ma has shifted his focus towards education and agriculture, maintaining a low profile while still being seen as a key figure in China's private economy.
