Nansha, strategically located about an hour from Hong Kong and well-connected to major cities in the Greater Bay Area, is identified as a pivotal development zone alongside Qianhai and Hengqin. Liu highlighted Nansha's vast potential, with an area larger than Singapore but with only 27% developed, suggesting significant room for growth.
