Chinese spatial design firm Manycore Tech files for IPO in Hong Kong

Manycore Tech, a Chinese start-up operating the world's largest spatial design platform, has applied for an IPO in Hong Kong. This comes three years after the company's previous attempt to list on the Nasdaq stock exchange lapsed. The Hangzhou-based company is recognized as one of the city’s “Six Little Dragons,” a group of promising tech companies.

Manycore's IPO filing, sponsored by JPMorgan and CCB International, did not specify the amount the company intends to raise. However, a Bloomberg report from last year suggested the company was aiming for US$200 million. The company touts itself as the largest spatial design platform globally by monthly active users in 2023, and the largest software provider in China's spatial design industry by revenue in the same year. Founded in 2011, Manycore's valuation reached US$2 billion in 2020 after a funding round.
