Chinese scientists make brain-computer co-evolution possible for the first time
Chinese researchers have developed the world's first two-way adaptive brain-computer interface (BCI), significantly improving efficiency and bringing the technology closer to practical applications. This innovative system allows the brain and the device to learn from each other, leading to stable performance over time, a major advancement over traditional one-directional BCIs.
The new BCI, detailed in a Nature Electronics study, integrates brain signals with a device capable of providing feedback, enabling the brain to adjust and improve control.
