Singaporean star JJ Lin to grace Hong Kong’s Kai Tak Sports Park

Singaporean singer-songwriter JJ Lin will be the first Mandopop artist to perform at Hong Kong's newly-opened Kai Tak Sports Park. The concerts, part of Lin's world tour, are scheduled for May 24 and 25 at the 50,000-seat Kai Tak Stadium, with tickets priced from HK$380 up to HK$1,680 (US$216). Public ticket sales begin on March 20.

Lin joins a growing list of stars set to perform at the venue, including Coldplay in April and Nicholas Tse in late April. Jay Chou is also scheduled for concerts at Kai Tak Stadium in late June. The Kai Tak Sports Park, which officially opened with a gala ceremony, is central to Hong Kong's efforts to become a major hub for international sports and cultural events.
