‘Two sessions 2025’: talent and tech tipped to drive China’s growth, top advisory body says

While acknowledging challenges such as low consumer demand and risks in certain areas, Liu stated that China's economic fundamentals are stable and resilient. The CPPCC gathering, one of China's annual "two sessions," brings together the political elite to outline economic priorities for the year, alongside the meeting of the National People's Congress.
