Koichiro Ito, a producer of the acclaimed anime film Your Name, has been sentenced to four years in prison for committing obscene acts against minors. He was convicted of violating child prostitution and pornography laws, as well as non-consensual sex and filming indecent images.
The Wakayama District Court handed down the sentence after Ito pleaded guilty to paying a 15-year-old girl for sex and demanding explicit photos from another teenager.
