Globally, Hong Kong accounts for roughly 2% of the world's 2.34 million HNWIs. The United States leads with the highest number of HNWIs, followed by mainland China and Japan. In terms of wealth held by billionaires, Hong Kong ranks seventh worldwide with US$330 billion, highlighting the city's significant economic influence and its role as a key financial center in Asia, according to Knight Frank's Wealth Report.
