Malaysia steps up border security after bomb blast in Thailand

Malaysia has increased security measures along its border with Thailand following a bomb explosion in Thailand's Narathiwat province. Inspector General Razarudin Husain stated that police are closely monitoring the situation and have implemented strict security protocols to ensure safety.

Personnel stationed at the border have been instructed to heighten readiness and enforce stringent security measures, including intensified patrols at illegal crossing points and hotspots by strike force companies and battalion intelligence teams. Malaysian police are also conducting round-the-clock security monitoring at police posts as a precaution, following the explosion that occurred in front of the Sungai Kolok stadium on Saturday.
