Hong Kong’s M+ museum to showcase renowned Pablo Picasso’s works

Hong Kong's M+ museum is set to launch "The Hong Kong Jockey Club Series: Picasso for Asia – A Conversation," showcasing Pablo Picasso's works through a contemporary Asian lens. The exhibition, opening to the public on Sunday and running until July 13, will feature over 60 pieces by Picasso alongside 130 works by 30 Asian or Asian-diasporic artists.

M+'s artistic director, Doryun Chong, emphasized the museum's role in revitalizing Hong Kong as a cultural hub, attracting tourists with creative content. Chong highlighted the West Kowloon Cultural District's strategic importance in fostering East-West intercultural exchange, noting that M+ has welcomed over 8 million visitors since its opening three years ago, contributing significantly to the city's tourism and cultural appeal beyond shopping and dining.
